We’re so glad that you’ve found Journey Church in Maricopa AZ.  Journey is Maricopa’s United Methodist Church, presently meeting at Maricopa Wells Middle School, in the Maricopa Meadows subdivision of Maricopa.  Click here  for a map to our Sunday Worship space.

We’re a diverse group of people who are all interested journeying together and with Jesus.  We believe that journey happens as we ENCOUNTER, EXPERIENCE, and ENGAGE.  We ENCOUNTER Jesus, our God and each other.  We then EXPERIENCE Jesus and one another, and we are transformed by the experience.  Finally we go out to ENGAGE with the world, transformed by Jesus and ready to transform the world.

The Journey Church worships at 10:15 am each Sunday morning.  Sunday school for all ages begins each Sunday at 9am.

Our June sermon series is about connecting the truth of our faith to the lessons in the Disney movies.  Did you know those princesses have something to teach us?  Beyond the marketing juggernaut that is Disney, they have an interesting message.  There’s an echo of our Gospel, and the teachings of Jesus, in the Disney stories.  We’re be learning about the connections all through the month.
