The Journey Church started in 2009 in the loft of someone’s home. 
We’ve grown since then. Today our church has well over a hundred people in worship on Sunday, plus great ministries and outreach.
What’s a typical Journey person look like? We’re young and old, with a big variety of people. Diversity is important to the Journey Church. We want to be a church that reflects the diversity of God’s people.
Journey is a United Methodist Church. If you’re interested in learning more about the United Methodist Church, click www.umc.org. In a nutshell, United Methodists are Christians — followers of Jesus — who exist to “make disciples of all nations for the transformation of the world.” We are about teaching people about Jesus (making disciples) so that the world will be different. We’re active in mission projects to alleviate suffering and make the world better.
