I’m the pastor of the Journey Church.  But that’s not all I am.  I also am the husband of Adriana, the father of Grifin and the father of Sophia.  

And there’s more: I’m a graduate of Emory University (the Candler School of Theology, where I did my master’s degree) and George Fox (That’s where I did my doctorate).  I’ve been a pastor since 1997.

But none of this really tells the whole story, does it?  I like to play outside and enjoy God’s creation.  I like to bike and run and raft and ski.

I like to connect people to Jesus, who I know as the way, the truth and the life.  But I don’t claim to know all the answers.

In fact, I’m struggle with all kinds of questions.  And what I think church does is provide people with a group of friends with which we struggle along through life’s questions.  Church is the place where people come together, lean on one another, and work through the hard stuff, the questions, the troubles, and the joys.
